We will put hockey on hold for now

Not becasue of the money but because he does not want to do it again.
The poor little guy who skated like the wind in figure skating was so weighed down by the hockey gear he kept falling and struggling to get back up.  The hockey clinic had little walkers some of the kids could use who could not skate.  At one point he was given one of those.  He looked like an elderly midget. But eventually he was able to get up and chase the puck around for a while.

He was soaked with sweat when he was done but told me he did not want to do it again.  So we stick with his gymnastics which he loves

He fought the germs

And the germs won.  Termporarily.
At four years of age he is showing some signs of OCD.  My little Monk.  I told him that hand washing was important so he did not get sick.  So he washed and washed and washed some more.
My husband told him that rinsing his mouth with a flouride rinse would keep away germs as well.  So he rinsed and rinsed and rinsed.
He still ended up with horrible stomach germs.  Diarrhea and vomiting on and off for a couple of days.
He almost missed the birthday party he was invited to.  He had been waking up daily for two weeks with the first thing out of his mouth being "Is the party today?"  He seemed to be okay so we took him to the party.   And he was okay until later on that night.
Nasty flu bug, at least you gave a little cease fire for a boy to go to a friend's party
